I currently teach a group of about 30 kids aged between 6-15 dance! The dancing can be anything really but mainly street and a little break dance. I've been asked to do a full show of dance <- was my reaction!

I want to do happy and vibrant dances and so far the songs Ive got are:

I believe - Yolanda Adams (my favourite song of all time!)
Shoop Shoop - Cher (for the kiddies)
Lollipop - Mika
Right back where we started from - Sinita
Thriller - Michael Jackson
And some from Timberland's new album but Ive got to check the lyrics to make sure theres no swearing.

I need some inspiration - what songs can any of you think of that have a good beat?!

Used to dance, and I know we did a couple routines to that one.  They were fun.

Last time I did a dance routine it was to 'The lion sleeps tonight'  :-D  Loooong time ago.  I like Crespins suggestion.  Sounds good :-)

I think I might have enough for a dance show here. I'll probably have to play them out back to back to see how long it all is. I asked the kids to bring in a song they liked and Id try and make a routine up for it - one girl brought in the police and asked me to dance to so lonely!! Shes about 8! lol. Id never heard of the police!
