I'm currently on a gap year from University and have been looking for a job around dogs since September, it has proved next to impossible. I wrote to all of the boarding kennels and grooming salons in my area but only one replied, and that was to tell me that she wasn't currently able to employ anyone. I have been through all of the job seeker websites and searched google to no avail, but surely someone somewhere in this area needs someone?
To make money I'm currently dog walking and selling pet portraits, but I really want to get into work at a kennels or breeders to be able to work and learn at the same time.
If anyone knows any websites I may not have seen or anyone in the Leeds/Wakefield area who may be looking then please let me know.
