How how much does a minature yorkshire terrier weigh? Is there such a thing as a Minature Yorkshire Terrier?

No there isn't such thing as a Miniature Yorky.

Breed standard for US and UK --- Yorkshire Terrier 7 pounds and under.
Apparently, there are breeders attempting to cash in on an extreme trend. Some specialize in tiny dogs 1-3 pounds adult size. IMO this is unhealthy. If you have a Yorkie that is over 7 pounds, it is oversize, but for a pet can make a wonderful little dog. Despite a breeder's intention, there are puppies that are born which will grow  :)

Sometimes pet stores/farms will try to get an Aussie or Silky terrier and re-lable it as a Yorkshire to make it sell quicker. They are slightly larger dogs with a different coat texture.
hth and good luck,

Agree with all that egohania said, but bear in mind that 'normal'size yorkies do sometimes produce tiny yorkies, as well as large ones. I know a little yorkie girls, 4 year old, and weighs about 3lbs. She is realy tiny, yet both her parents are perfectley acceptable for size (they are Ozmillion lines) She was the only 'titch' in the litter, and it also contained a large boy, now apparently about 9 lbs:). Just to make it clear, I am not advocating breeding tiny ones, just letting the enquirer know that good breeders may occasionally have the titches for sale as pets, they are just a naturaly occurring thing with yorkies.

Yep Gwen, you're right. Thanks for adding to my description. :) :) I wasn't paying attention to that view just because the tiny dogs are still within "breed requirements" just due to how it reads :) :) :)
