Topic Dog Boards / General / House Plaque with Breed/affix

Hi all. Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong section but does anyone know if I could get a house plaque made and designed with a picture of my breed and my affix put on it ? If somebody could point me towards an appropriate website I would be most grateful. Thank you in advance.

yes. i got a cast iron one and it moulted on the wall out side or it can hang like a pub sign if you wish.

i send a photo of my stud dog rush and then they put my affix above the dog

Ooh, don't tempt me! I think I have the same breed you do Cavlover, and I can just imagine a plaque with those waggy tails and floppy ears everywhere..... :-D

Thanks for replying.

By your description LucyDogs I do think we have the same breed lol.

I do know of a couple of places that make house number plaques so maybe I will just have to ask if they could customise one for me.

In the meantime if anyone does know of anywhere online that do breed specific house plaques, I'd be grateful.

hope you get one.....we did this once when we were living in temp cottage awaiting the purchase of my current cottage....next thing we knew was a frightful letter from the local council asking if we were an unlicenced breeding establishment!

Hmm, never thought of that ! And bearing in mind I have one litter in 12 months at the very most, (it will probably be 18-24 months before we have another as we kept two from the last litter) I am not licensed.  Thanks for the warning Sam.

I got one on ebay and it is brass with a staffy on it and my surname.  He also did horse ones and I got one for my friend.  Might be worth looking.  I can't remember the guys username but he also did personalised sundials so you might be able to track him through that.

Thanks cheekycow, will do a search for this guy - but maybe I will omit my affix and just have a cavalier on it with my house number.... wouldn't want to make it look as though I am advertising.

Andover Rubber Stamp used to make them in a variety of shapes with the breed of dog and letters or numbers - whatever you wanted - a friend got a lovely one made with a Rhodesian Ridgeback on, must be over 10 years ago and it still looks as good as new.  Email them and see if they still make them, all they can say is No!   ;)

Blimey Keronella, that was not a good typo  Thanks for pointing it out ! Sincere apologies Cheekychow.

Must admit I always read it as Cheekycow too!

 Many would call me a cheeky cow but here I am cheekychow.  Don't have chows but the origin of the username is a long story.

JK Animal Creations as www.jkanimalcreations.piczo.com has a lot of breed specific stuff, and I am sure they can work a way to do a house plaque with your breed on it, and your Affix.

Thank you Crespin that sounds very promising, will check it out. I really hope I can get one.

Thanks again to everyone else.
