There was a shoot yesterday, and there has been another one today near us, and therefore the dogs didn't get their morning walks.

I'm just back now, with Freya (lab) Vinnie, Beau Loki & Thor (Aussies) - and a bonus of 3 pheasants :D :D

Freya brought one back - and Vinnie and Beau brought the other two - with Loki yelling like mad that she had found them!

Now they'd all been shot - and whilst Freya brought her one back first (and she was off-lead), both Vinnie and Beau rushed back together (Vinnie was on long line, Beau was off) with the other two - so maybe the beaters/pickers-up had forgotten a couple :D :D :D

They've all been told that they're such good dogs - and the pheasants are for the freezer :D

Gosh lucky dogs and you :d :d  Wish I could find land like that for my Carmen.  She needs to pick up warm game, at the moment she'll only retrieve cold game from water!! Shucks, so that's why she's a water dog!!
