Yes it's true. I have a horse :D

Bought a 10 y.o Section D x TB gelding in the borders. He's a redundant hunter who has just done a summer of pony club activities, but is too strong for the young boy rider. He's only 16.0hh, but as he's quite "chunky" he will do for Al.

He arrives next week (whilst I'm on holiday  ). I'm excited and petrified at the same time

Vet gave him a clean bill of health and said he was a very nice well made horse, so I'm very pleased.

He is registered with the Welsh Pony and Cob Society, so he has a "posh" name, but I can't remember it !! He is known as "Wilby" :)

Super I love Welsh Cobs, hope you have a lo of fun with him. I picture him as dark brown nearly black don't know why. Am I right?

Or is he bay? I am soo jealous, I dont miss horses much until I see one being ridden or see posts about them. I had to give up riding/breaking etc when I did me back in. Hope he is a great success for you. Welsh Cob xTB is a great cross- tough and brainy. Is he a good jumper too?

He's a darkish bay with a black mane and tail. He's an ex-hunter and has won WH classes at the local show. He's a very good jumper, jumps anything.

The local horse wouldn't take a side saddle. We put one on Wilby and he just tried to eat it :D My friend is buying the local horse instead, so she will go to a good home. Just not as good as Wilby's ;)

You lucky thing! :D
I sold my last horse 20 years ago and although I am always saying I will one day have another I never seem to get around to it. :(
