Well as you know I lost my old dog over 3 weeks ago who was TD
Now the two younger ones are starting to fight more.
I presume they are fighting for Top dod postion :( :(
Why now, why at this time of the year :eek::eek:
How long does it take to sort their postitions out???
I thought after Gemma went the growling would be gone(She was a grumpy old cow Bless her!!!!!)

Lea, I don't think it has anything to do with the time of year ;) It could take just one spat, or it could go on for life :( Just make sure that you reinforce the top dog when they have sorted it out themselves. :D

is this proper fighting or just trying to find out who's boss? Just let them sort it out between themselves and they will both learn who stands where soon enough. Obviously only intervene if they start properly fighting. Hope this makes sense.

As your old dog has gone, the pack dynamics have changed. They are probably just trying to work out again how to make things work without her.

Also what are you feeding them? What breeds are they? How much exercise do they get? How much training do you do with them? Do they have any medical issues?

If theyre not a bullbreed then let them sort it out, but if theyre bull breeds then they may need seperation :(

Rottweiler and Am cocker!!!
Yeah, am sure its just sorting out their pecking order again. and no blood has been spilt yet.
Hopefully it wont take them long to work it out.

Like these guys said, if you start to feel uncomftable with theyre fighting then seperate them until they calm down, but as long as its looks like play with no vicious snarls or real aggression, you should be cool! :)
