(did it damp, forgetting how much it shortens when it goes wavy-curly) but, that seems to have taken off the straw hair that's been bugging me so I'm going to try and keep it silky now! I've thinned it a LOT as well (ah, the joys of being an ex-groomer... handy, decent hair trimming tools lol!) and that's helped the poofiness.
and find the best way to deal with poofyness is to use a little shine/frizz control serum (asda or tesco are nice and cheap and not too greasy) on wet hair followed by Sunsilk leave-in treatment for Curls and Waves (green bottle), it leaves hair shiny and controlled but not crunchy ;) and amazingly it can be revitalised in the morning with a water spray and hair dryer with diffuser :D :D I really need this because I scare the dogs otherwise :D :D :D
