We are off on Friday for a 3 week holiday to California which I am really looking forward too but am already getting tearful about leaving Flynn (my cavalier).  I don't think I will be able to cope for 3 weeks without seeing him ( didn't think about all this when I booked the hols back in July). 

I know he will have a lovely time as my friends daughter is moving in to look after him and the cats and they all love her.  My friend has already said that Flynn will be staying with them on Xmas eve and Xmas night and will be sleeping on the younger daughters bed as she didn't think he would be comfy in the kitchen lol.

He will probably have the best xmas ever but I am going to miss him sooooooooooooooooooooo much :(

Aww, try not to get down he'll have a lovely time and he'll be soooo pleased to see you when you get back.  Mine's going to the kennels for christmas but he was there last year and he was none the worse, although I missed him terribly.  Just have a good holiday and think of the dog safe and happy until you return :)
