Can anyone advise me when my puppy can have her first bath?  She's only 11 weeks, but is getting a bit grubby having always been in the garden in this weather!

So long as you make sure she is dried properly, and doesn't get chilled, I would bath her now if she really is that dirty ;) Mine are all bathed before they leave for their new homes as babies, and if you are going to show your dog it's very much a case of the earlier the better :) Is she small enough to do in the kitchen sink? It makes it a lot easier, you don't have to bend down and break your back :D

I keep afghans, and my breeder bathed them all weekly from about 6 weeks, obviously in  a warm room. It helps them learn to tolerate it and accept it with less of a struggle. The earlier the better I think!
