for ages ive been trying to buy the boys a new funky collar and lead set, ive now officially given up :rolleyes:  Instead im going with a fabric greyhound house collar and a slip lead.  The collar ive seen is plum/mauve colour so I want a slip lead to complement it.  I can only seem to find show leads or normal rope leads on line, I dont really want leather, someone at training has a braided type rope style one (if you know what I mean ;) ) but she picked it up at a country show.  Does anyone know of any websites ?

Could you take the padding off the handle?

I didnt think about that - I think the reason for the £20 price label is for the handle though so was hoping to get something a bit cheaper.

Can't you just cut the handle off? I found some purple ones on eBay but they're normal rope, not the smooth shiny stuff like those ones.

Luxway do braided slip leads in a variety of colours. They have purple but not sure how that would match your plum. If you want a really cool greyhound collar you could check these out. I have a fabric half-check with tassels for walking around with my dog outside of the ring.
