Today I thought I would try out my new theatre system linked to my TV, listening to music channel fairly loud, my dogs all came in the lounge and laid down relaxing!!!
I had thought that loud music would upset my dogs, in that case I would have kept the music low, but they seemed to have enjoyed it! (I hope)
Now normally when I need to collect the kids from school I leave the radio on for the dogs, low, and my pup normal finds a piece of paper or book to chew while I am out!
But this afternoon I put the radio on a wee bit louder and came home to no mess!! now was this a one off or does music calm ??? :D :D

3 of my dogs don't bother at all about any music, loud or quiet. I must confess to dancing with Mr Beastly though to Ferron :o Now when he hears her he'll come over, tail wagging and stand up with his front paws on my shoulder so we can dance :D

My dogs don't bat an eyelid if the music is on, until I start dancing and singing ;) Chance then tells me in no uncertain terms to shut up and stop prancing around like an idiot :D The others just look at me, and go back to sleep, though I've noticed the pup has started to watch Chance to see what he is doing. I don't think it will be too long before she joins in........

Being the oldest rocker in town, I love Rock 'n Roll!  Only have to hear C'mon Everybody on the radio, and I turn it up full blast.  Once I start dancing round the kitchen, my eldest Beardie puts her paws on my shoulders and wags her tail like hell! I'm singing at the top of my voice, and she's the only one that doesn't mind that I'm tone deaf!

Skye loves it but only if you dance with her, like Keronella she likes to put her paws on my shoulders but then tries to climb up my legs until I pick her up, sight to be seen as I am 5'1" and weigh less than 7 1/2st, times like these I am glad she is so small. Cant really see myself picking up a full sized rottie.

I like to listen to music fairly loud when I am cooking dinner, and the other night I was listening to Leona's new album - my Malamute loved it and started "woo-ing" along!! My dogs don't mind music, in fact I think they quite enjoy it as I have it on a lot around the house.

My pay no attention at all, until ....................... I start singing and dancing!! :-o :-o, then they all like to join in and 'weave' in and out of my legs, ahhhhhhhhhh, the amount of times I've ended up on the floor with four rott's thinking that this is the best game they've ever had!!:-)

He he, my Cavalier loves it when I start dancing too, she thinks it's time to join in. She's not quite sure about my singing though :-D

I don't know where I heard it but I swore dogs was sensitive to loud music!! :)

Today I had to pop out to the shops, and left the music on as I normally do, but a bit louder and my pup was a good boy again????!!! :) did not touch anything!!

Duibh howls along to the theme of the Archers - can't work out if it's pleasure or pain. :D There's an advert on TV at the mo with the Archers music and that gets him going every time....  Dorain doesn't seem so interested in music but will tango briefly with his paws round my waist. :p
