Hi. I would like to put my IW on Timberwolf. Can anyone tell me where I can get this food from. He needs building up and I would also like to know which is the best one to put him on. Thanks for your help.
You can order it with free delivery from
http://www.zooplus.co.uk/, I feed the Southwest diet which has helped put some weight on my very skinny dog as he lost a lot of weight on burns.
Thanks Shannon. Have had a look at the site and it says this food is for older dogs. He is 16mths. Will that be ok for him?

All Timberwolf formula's are ok for puppies or adults,it's an all life stage food :) .The only one i probably wont try is the black forest due to the low fat.
Houstrained i would give the wild & natural a try,it's my favourite of all the TO formula's.

Thank you Ktee for going to so much trouble and writing all that out. Very much appreciated. I have phoned a local animal feed delivery firm we used ages ago. They dont stock it but will let me know on Monday if they can get it. If not I will order on line from the above address. Thanks again. Sue.
Hi Sue, I never actually noticed it mentioning about older dogs on the info..well my boy is only 10 months and seems to be doing well on it! Like Ktee said, I think they are 'all life stages food'...so should be ok!
Hi shannon. Have received email confirmation from Zooplus my order is on the way. But dont know when it will arrive. Yes your poor neighbour

Sorry about the new thread. Didnt realise I had to use the same one. As it was for a different question I just started a new thread. Will know in future. Apoligies.

I received some Timberwolf today. I order from Zooplus and as has been said it takes about 2-3 days - parcel force come and deliver it - if I'm about they get a signature but they have just left it by my garage if I'm not about.
I've noticed that Zooplus have been out of stock of a couple of the varieties for a few weeks and are now out of four varieties. Therefore in a moment of being pro-active I e-mailed Zooplus to ask what was going on:
They replied...
"Thank you very much for your query. Unfortunately, the Timberwolf varieties Black Forest and Ocean Blue you requested are, as yet, not ready for shipment. Regrettably, our supplier is experiencing difficulties as we import the food from the US, an inconvenience for which we would like to apologise.Nonetheless, we hope to be able to offer the article again soon, but cannot give a specific date on which to expect the product. We will notify you as soon as it becomes available to us if you enter your email address online. Hoping you will continue to consider us your first choice in quality pet care, we remain,With kindest regards,Your Service-Team"
I then got even more pro-active and e-mailed Timberwolf themselves to ask if and when they plan to do the food in the UK. Despite experiences that other people have had I got a quick reply...
"Thank you for your email in search of our formulas in the UK.
We have spent the last 2 years in the UK in September at the Glee/Pet Index with intentions of exporting our products to the UK.
We have been exporting Timberwolf to Germany and beyond for a few years and it has been very successful and is in great demand and we welcome enquiries such as yours for the UK who are renowned for their highest standards of purebreds and their great love of all living animals.
We are presently jumping through some governmental hoops in order to complete the required paperwork in order to export to the UK. Some of this included having our facility certified for export to the UK.
In the meantime we would encourage prospective distributors to contact us to discuss distribution of our lines of pet foods in the UK.
We would welcome and are actively seeking distributor enquiries from the UK.
As we continue to process all the paperwork required for compliance our eyes are fixed on the UK and the needs of the country for very high end performance top quality pet foods.
Rozina Cotton
Timberwolf Organics, Inc."
So I then got even more pro-active still and e-mailed postal pet products, PAH and various other people to ask if they would like to contact Timberwolf and offer to be distributors (of course if there is anyone on here who would be willing to be a distributor/know of someone who would be willing to be a distributor - get e-mailing!!)
I also e-mailed a distributor in Germany (not Zooplus) who deal direct with Timberwolf (got the details from Timberwolf's website) and do the 7.5 Kg bags aswell as the 15 Kg ones to ask if they could ship to the UK (well if Zooplus can do it...). I'll let you all know if I hear anything useful back.
Need to go and lie down now....

PAH just replied and said they have passed the query onto the company's buyers...so fingers crossed we can all get it locally soon!!! Maybe some more people e-mailing and harrassing them would help
Hi Clair. Thanks for all the information. Our local pet food supplier has emailed them earlier about getting it in the UK. They are very interested in keeping stock of it. I read out the email you got back from Timberwolf to them. Just a matter of waiting now
oh wow Bedlem, you were busy!! Good idea though, nothing will change if nobody asks, will get on to them myself aswell!

Has anyone figured out yet where to get Timberwolf from?
I emailed zooplus a couple of months ago and was under the impression it would be soon. Guess they are having a lot of problems since they've removed all the varieties.
I'm after either the Elk or Bison varieties.

Afraid not, short of shipping it in from the US

I've had to switch brands because the only variety of Timberwolf that Zooplus have is no good for mine and I'm not spending £37.50 on the variety I don't want. I've switched to
Franks Pro Gold Performance. Very impressed by the service, I've joined the breeder scheme and ordered 2 x 15kg bags on Monday and it totalled £42.40. They were delivered here yesterday with a whole lot of freebies too! It's made in Finland and I'm pretty happy with the ingredients

I've changed to AG for the same reason...

I have a friend in the States who's also had to change from Timberwolf to another brand as they are having distribution problems internally too. Doesn't say much for the company. Wouldn't see Pedigree missing out on sales ;)

Thank you everyone, I hope they get it sorted out because their food is spectacular.
I guess I'll have to keep her on CSJ still.
I was at the NEC in Birmingham for the petindex show, I spoke to the rep from Timberwolf and she was confident that they would soon be distributing in the u.k. They didn't have any samples either. I've tried to contact them since, but can't get any straight answers, its a shame as i'm sure my standard poodle and plenty of others peoples dogs would love to try elk!!

That's because it's not on there anymore and hasn't been for some time :D This thread was started in Feb.
I've just seen on the Timberwolf website a message from October under the news section saying they are looking for European distributors. Maybe Zooplus will start stocking it again..
I've emailed zooplus to find out why they stopped stocking it, i've also had a look around on other forums and i think (not that i want to start possible rumours) that they had some type of legal dispute with the german importer... The plot thickens!!!!
btw.. is it really that good???
has anyone here tried it on a long term basis??

I doubt anyone could find supplies of it on a lengthy enough basis to give you an answer to your question.
