My bitch 2 days ago developed a hard swollen teat , had her at the vet asap and as suspected said it was mastitis and to bathe it with hot compress and to suppress the milk etc and gave her antibiotics and galastop as the puppies are 6 weeks old today by the time i got home i noticed the other teat opposite (both back ones ) was swollen and red also so followed vets advice with that one also , the first teat swelling started to go down still felt lumpy but was not as sore and was on the mend , the other one by night time looked very bruised and by morning the milk had blood in it and still very painful , back to the vets we went who said an abscess had formed at a quicker rate than usual and that he expected it to burst within next 24 hrs and described to me in great detail what it would look like when it did burst ( big hole etc) he also gave her an antibiotic jag as she had been sick earlier and we wanted to make sure she had antibiotic in her system , so here's my question and worry , it didnt so much as burst but started to weap , there is no big hole (has that still to come ?) it looked like a big blood blister before it weaped and now looks like a blister does when it bursts, the breast area is still very red and swollen i have bathe it with warm water , it is still weaping a little , looks like watery blood coming from it , is this right for an abscess as this is my first experience of mastitis and breast abscess ?

Yes, that is exactly how it should be a reddy, brown liquid weeping from her until the swelling causes it to bursts.  She should not feed her pups at all now keep them away from her teats, as milk production now will cause a larger swelling which may cause a worse infection and turn it gangerene.  Do exactly as your vet has told you and all will be well. :-)
