I was wondering at what stage do you reduce a puppys meals from 4 to 3?  At the moment she is having 1 pouch of food a day, would this stay the same but just be split over 3 meals.  Do you completely miss one meal out or just move the times around?

All I got from the breeder was a breakdown of her routine now but nothing about when she moves on another stage.

About 12 weeks.  I move the times around but give the lat meal a bit earlier than before.  I wouldn't bother with commercial wet food if she eats well.  The amount of food over the day will be the same or more, but in fewer meals.

what did you do when you reduced from 5 to 4 meals a day? or was the pup not on 5 a day?

She was never on 5 a day, it's only been 4 feeds.

She's only 9 weeks!

I have never fed my pups more than 4 meals a day as until at least 5 or 6 weeks (usualy the odd feed right up until they leave) they will be getting the rest from Mum.  By the tiem pups are 8 weeks old 4 meals a day is plenty.

I build my puppies up to 4 meals a day when weaning - never heard of anyone giving them 5 - any reason why you do this?

this is gonna sound stupid but i dont know why. its what my partner has always done

I feed 4 meals a day until pups are 16 weeks, as recommended by my own veterinarian.  When I change to 3 meals, they still get the same daily quantity, just split into 3 portions instead of 4.  At 6 months I change to 2 meals a day.
