When I was a child I would occasionally see dogs tied.  Sometimes I thought both dogs were males because I thought I knew the dogs.  Was I right?  Do male dogs sometimes tie with other males?

Not as far as I know.  Would not have occurred to me, though I was pretty innnocent.

I've seen plenty of male dogs humping each other, as female dogs too, but never personally seen any tie, I don't think they do, mum has had and one of my brother's have male entire dogs together and they have never done the deed. ;-)

The thought had never occurred to me and has made my eyes water. :D Certainly never seen it anyway!
