Unless your dog is an outstanding example of the breed I would forget using him for breeding. Best way to start breeding is to buy a quality bitch from parents (and preferably other relatives) that have been tested for the relevant health checks and have passed with flying colours etc. Then when she is about 2 years old and all going well select a stud dog that compliments her. Breeding isn't just about putting two dogs together it needs months if not years of planning and lots of money of course.
