my 4 month female puppy has begun urinating in 4 places in the house.  she is dry and clean all night and when left at other times. she just seems unable to resist having a quick squirt next to the doors, in the hall and infront of the dishwasher!  I know she can hold her urine due to her being dry at night. sometimes she will wee 3-4 times outside and then when I come back in with her 10 minutes later there is a damp patch in her usual spot.  I have followed every bit of advice from our breeder and books.  she goes for a wee when we say quick quick and doesn't poo in the house. so, she is doing brilliantly.  we moved about 4 weeks ago almost mid training so i think that hasn't helped.  when she wee's in the house i just clean it up and don't give her any attention, but never tell her off. outside she gets big hugs and fuss and she understands that bit.  we are going away at christmas and her "fairy dog mother" is looking after her and i want to get it sorted by then.  if it is scent marking is there anything we can do now and also to prevent her marking every house she goes in. also, how do we get her to let us know if she needs to go out, its a bit earlier I know but i want to do the right thing.

she can probably still smell where she has been and marks there again.  You need to sue a cleaner that does not contain ammonia such as bio washing powder.  Also restrict her access to these favourite spots.  Even if it means barricading the dishwasher when you leave her for short periods.

It isn't unusual for a pup to need to wee again after 10 or 20 minutes if they are doing something exciting, and go longer if they are sleeping.  they are not yet at the stage of full control for wees, when they need to go it is pretty immediate.

Get something called "Urine Off", i got mine off Ebay but im sure they do it in a pet supermarket . its the best thing to get rid of of scent of their
wee and is a good deterant for dogs.
i have the same problem with my  6 month old bull mastiff , she seems to go by the washing machine , in front of the tv and by the lounge door, even though we take her outside!
