Thought I would just share a little info with you.
My father bought a twin induction hob to try out and I must say I'm very pleased with how it works.
Going by the way it performs I think we will go for a full 4 pan induction hob and pass on gas or electric.
The only thing is you need magnetic pans as the hob works by the means of a magnet. Very clever.
Its got touch control settings, power, temp, time and is very easy to clean afterwards.
The speed at which it heats up fluids is amazing!!

I do wish that I had gone for this option too - we have an ordinary ceramic hob because I didn't want to throw out my saucepans that we were given as a wedding present.  However they won't go in the dishwasher so I have ended up buying new pans anyway.  Ceramic hobs are so easy to clean - just have to be careful not to slide things because you will get scratches.

Thanks for the tip on the glass.
I forgot to say its a portable hob so you can use it then store it afterwards.
