My cat decided to jump onto my lap today, not a common thing so he took me by surprise. As he landed he dug his claws into my leg and I now have 4 claw wounds  Why would a cat that hardly ever comes to say hello suddenly decide he needs a cuddle? He is usually wary of coming near people and I had a visitor at the time. Stupid cat.. He's now hiding somewhere (some rather unpleasant words were spoken at the time ;) ) so I probably won't see him again today.

where there was a ghost in the house for his reaction:rolleyes:
I do know I have one in the corner of the living room, but I have never seen him, and the cat didn't seem spooked. I think he just forgot to put his claws in when he jumped up. Hopefully next time he'll remember :)
Keep an eye on him, he might not be feeling himself.
My old girl would n't entertain being in the same room as the dogs, but when she was feeling unwell, would seek you out for a cuddle. So whenever she ventured into the lounge with the dogs around, we knew something was amiss.

I did wonder about him being off colour, but he is eating well (I think - he does a lot of hunting ;) ) and he has told the dogs off today (normal for him :D ) One of my neighbours said it might be the wind that has upset him so I'll keep an close eye on him over the next few days.
