I have been palmed off with a 10p from jersery.:rolleyes:It has the Queens head on it & looks like a normal 10p. But the Co-op refused to take it, tight Sods. Is it legal Tender?

Found this: Note Channel Islands notes and coins are not accepted in the UK, although they can be reconverted at parity in UK banks.
LOL We still use one pound notes. We do have seperate Guernsey and Jersey money but use English too. You can use the coins up in vending machines and Banks will exchange any notes. Off course anyone not wanting any 'Channel Island' money may post it to me!
Send it to me...I have couple of ladies coming to see me from Jersey this w/end to view their new puppies (And be vetted???) I can hand it over to them...sure they would be happy to spend it on frivialities
