Very important is age difference, the first bitch must be fully mature to avoid any heirarchy problems later on, if this is done they should bond very well and get along just fine.

Of course the mature bitch will need time outs from a pup, it also depends greatly on the characters of both bitches, some bond immediately, some take a while and others just live together but are indifferent.

Yorkies I usually see in two's, three's and fours, so they do get along well with their own breed for company.

Just please make sure that the age gap is right. :-)
