None are required however they recommend a health test that is being set up at the moment

The details can be found here http://www.bulldogbreedcouncil.co.uk/ under the health schemes.

Of course all breeds should be hip scored, as all dogs can get HD.  the very few bulldogs hip scored shown no room for complacency regarding this aspect.

Agree but unfortunately very, very few are hipscored!  Shame that all breeds and crossed breeds aren't made to be hipscored eye tested before being bred from,  I bet that there would be some extremely interesting results and the hybrid vigour would be proved to be a load of doggy doodles!!

sorry.. it was someone who was picking whats left of my brains on breeding/whelping etc.. .. a complete stranger found my msn.. I pointed them in the direction of the breed club/members etc..(I know zilch about bulldogs)  and although he did say there were no tests as yet... (I am such a cynic...)  I needed to ask .. and where better to get info than CD :D :D

thanks all...
