
Angels, I think so yes, I had one bitch who did her obedience test and passed (just!!! :D) but every other have been, shall we say challenging! Especially with house training issues :rolleyes:
And because I have a bichon/poodle cross too that has inherited poodle brains (he's a smart as paint) you definately see the difference! Bichon Frise translates to 'curly coated lap-dog' and that is what they do best!
But what they lack in trainability they more than make up for in every other way especially their wonderfully friendly natures and sweet disposition :) and cheekiness is very much part of them!
Obviously there are exceptions, I know two bichons that do mini-agility and obedience displays! My current lot are all still 'in-training', especially re-call (I'm whistle training them) and leg-lifting (of course :rolleyes:)
