If you only feed Natures Menu or Prize Choice frozen mince blocks, would that have enough of everything for your dogs diet? What would you need to add for an adult dog 2 - 6 years old and a 4 month old puppy? I know you can add veg's, eggs, etc but what about Bones for the puppy, raw chicken wings? Would you give raw chicken wings to a puppy? So many questions.....

Sorry can't help with the above, but my cocker pups are fed chicken wings from 4 weeks of age......it's amazing how quickly they eat them too.

All mine are fed bones from as soon as I bring them home.:-)

Natures menu and Natures diet both have crushed bone in them so it is good for your dog/pups teeth , it is also a complete meal so you do not need to add anything to it like biscuits or mixer.
The amount you feed them is stated on the instructions , but you have to start off feeding them 70% less then recommended so they get used to it

i have a 5 month old bull mastiff pup and have had the same trouble deciding what food to feed her from the start as she is not keen on dry food and she doesnt like canned food such as winalot/butchers/ pal etc , she will not eat that but she love nature diet and nature menu and also it is all good ingrediants in it with now bad additive or cr*ap basically!

i do leave dried biscuits out at lunchtime for her to nibble if she gets hungry!

i wouldnt give raw chicken wings , as chicken bones sometimes splinter in the dogd stomach but just a knuckle bone or something is fine!
You can get ham bones from tesco £1.99 and my pup loves them!..or pigs ear etc!

I would feed raw chicken wings before i fed a salty/cooked ham bone or pigs ears,JMO :) It's cooked bones that are prone to splintering..
I've been feeding raw chicken bones amongst others for years,as have many others, and have never had a problem.

Bertbeagle-A large beef knuckle bone would be most appreciated by your dogs,especially the pup,it will help with teething,plus the added bonus of keeping them happy and occupied for ages.

I agree Ktee. My pups loved tucking into a good knuckle bone from day I brought them home even though it was bigger than their head! Keeps them busy for a long time. (translate - you get to sit down for a few minutes :-D)
