Hi Has anyone got any Georgie crocs and what do you think of them if you have?
I,m really tempted to try them ,they are the welly boot type ones my other crocs have been so comfy I,m just wondering if the welly ones will be as good or if they will make heels sore by rubbing.
You really don,t want to know about my feet:eek:
I,ve managed to find some black ones instead of realy bright colours and I just wanted other peoples experiences of them thanks all

I haven't got any yet!!! :-D

But, the material that crocs are made from is so soft and plyable I would think that the boots will also be really soft, light and flexi too. I'm sure they will be fine for your feet, crocs are just sooooo.... comfy, I have all different colours they are a dream to wear aren't they? My husband hates them though, I wore them to the supermarket once and he just walked ahead of me laughing, he said he didn't know how I could wear them out in public:eek: when you have them on you don't care though do you they are like walking on air.

I'll def be getting the boots, even if hubby laughs until he cries. :-D

Have you seen the ones with the white fleecy lining for Winter?  :)
- By Carrington Date 24.10.07 09:26 UTC
Yes, I've seen those, might have to just get them too! :-P

Oh well black ones are sold out in wellies I was trying not to draw too much attention to myself now I,ll probably get some coloured ones instead.
The furry ones look great but not sure how they,ll look after a walk in our iron ore countryside:eek:

I haven't got any yet either, but I'm going to get a pair.

At the moment, I'm still trying to wear my normal crocs! (when it's not too cold out)  They are so wonderful.  I swore I'd never wear them, but I've been converted.  I have 2 pairs, black and blue, black ones for out and about and the blue ones I wear as slippers!

I always worried that they wouldn't be durable, how do they cope with real wear and tear, not hopping n and out of cars and shopping but mileage.
- By Lissie-Lou [gb] Date 26.10.07 21:41 UTC
The normal ones Barbara?

I wear mine for everything, exercising the dog (on roads, in fields and on the local beach) gardening, shopping, and they're great.  They still look new as well.

I've got the Caymans and I don't just go shopping in them!!! I wear them for just about everything apart from work. That includes walking the dogs through fields, forests and mud tracks!! They still look like new and don't look like they've had any wear. And the most important thing they are still comfortable!!!:-D

The ones with the fleecy lining I have seen (mammoths) still have the holes on the top but not on the side. Could see me wearing them in the house as slippers but think with all the rain we get up here in NE Scotland they wouldn't be much use outside. Shame cos I loved the Summer type crocs (got 4 pairs!!) and would happily buy something warmer for winter. Don't fancy the welly ones.

No but I bought 2 pairs of Mary Kates, pearl white and pink and one is still in the bag the other has been worn in the house only  I HATE THEM :-D :-D   I don't even find them particular anymore comfy than a pair of trainers, there is a bump that annoys the bump of my foot.. ( I feel mine will be going on e-bay)
- By Oldilocks [in] Date 26.10.07 14:48 UTC
Call me 'stupid' if you like, but what are 'Mary Kates'?? :)

P.S.  I have heard of 'Mary Kate and Ashley' from my grand-daughters, are 'Mary Kates' something to do with them??  :)
- By Paula20380 [gb] Date 26.10.07 15:34 UTC
A design of Crocs!! There are lots of different 'models'. Caymen, Beach and Mary-Kates just a few!!!:-D
- By Oldilocks [in] Date 26.10.07 16:22 UTC
Thanks Paula.............now I feel really stupid!!  :)  Been wearing Crocs myself since time began!!  :)
- By Paula20380 [gb] Date 26.10.07 16:27 UTC
Ha ha!!!!! I can't beat them, they even beat my trainers and muckers in the comfort stakes!!!!:-)

No need to feel stupid, if you haven't trawled the net looking you're unlikely to know the different types!!!:-D

Sorry I called them Mary Kates I do it all the time it is Mary Janes, just a little more feminine that the bulky ones. Not fussy on them at all to be honest. Thought I could break my mind into them but I just cant :-)

I,m struggling online to buy the georgies everywhere seems sold out also they advise a size above for them so I,m going to try an eight:eek:
Theres a shop in town sells them so I,m oing to pop in and try them on if they have any,I,ve been stuck at home with some stupid virus this week so not able to be seen out and about in case people think I,m skiving of work.
as if I would she says sloping out the back way with the dogs for a walk fresh air is good for you anyway is,nt it?

Have you tried www.fatshoesday.co.uk ?
- By pavlova [gb] Date 28.10.07 11:38 UTC
Well I,ve been and got some bright green ones:eek:They are very eyecatching to say the least.
It turned out rather expensive as the shop was doing a promotion if you bought one pair you got another for half price.
So lurking in the back of the wardrobe ready for summer theres a pair of burgundy cayman crocs as well hiding from hubby he doesn,t know about them yet ssshhh.
And best of all it was raining when we went out for our walk this morning so we,ve done the consumer test . I felt like bigfoot in them but they are very comfy and also very warm.
Thanks everyone for all your replies

I was converted to Crocs this summer by my sister and niece, and now have a pair of Caymans, and a pair of Beach's (they are almost identical, and no idea which is which!  One "sensible" pair in a sort of sage green, and one birght pink pair - I love them.  Tried all over to get the Georgies in pink, and eventually got them on ebay!  And yes, they are real Crocs - not worn them yet - just waiting for the rain!  There is also a great website selling them, called "lookatmycrazyshoes" and if you order 5 pairs you only pay for 4!
bye

I'm desperate for a pair of Crocs All Terrains, but they've sold out everywhere :(

Recently got some of the primas, which look like ballerina shoes but I have to say they gave me blisters which isn't great.

The only thing I don't like about them is those bumpy bits on teh sole which are supposed to be good for circulation, but damn uncomfortable!

hahahah just made me laugh :)  Hubby always laughs at me in mine- I wore them in the summer and now I wear them as slippers- boy does he get mad at me for wearing them outside and now in- I said well i can fix that I'll just get another pair- they are warm and so soft to walk in- ugly as all but who cares I like em lol I have a red eye tree frog on mine and a number 3...

Have never heard of boots or anything would like to see a link to look at- they sound comfy :)
