well my oh has an interview with the royal mail, and hes not sure what to wear as its been a while since hes been to an interview so he was thinking shirt, tye, nice shinny shoes basically the suit but no Jacket, or do you think this would be abit formal?

Depends really on what the job is.

If it's for a management post, then a proper suit is the way to go.  If it's for a more 'manual' job (postie/sorting office, driving, general clerical work) then shirt, tie and smart trousers should be absolutely fine.

me too, hes had a bad run made redudant and was sectioned at the beging of the year hes suffers from bipolar
