well my wonderful assistant/ office assistent has left us today.....she was a whizz on the pc and will be much missed. One thing she always did for me was set up the "automatic email reply" along lines of....."sorry but we're out of the office until next week but will get back to you then" and now shes gone i dont have a clue how to set it up!! anyone know please?

Just google on 'set up automatic email reply' Sam ..lots of help there ...I think your Outlook has a section on how to do it as well :)

its the "Out of Office assistant"  You should find it in either the TOOLS or ACTIONS toolbar from the main menu on Outlook.  Once you find it click on the button to change it to in the office.

Sorry I cant be more precise but the version of Outlook I have at home is different from the one at work.

If you go into your outlook emails and on the top info bar in either options or tools, have a look in the drop down list.  There's an option that says out of office assistant.  Go into that and it gives you the option to turn it on or off.  Check the on option and then type in your message "I will be out of the office for ever byeeee" or something along those lines :)
