I know a few people have bought/sold property recently. I am at the moment considering putting our house on the property market and have been reading about Home Information Packs. I have a 3 bed property so I am assuming I will need one. Just wondering what the process was, does the estate agent arrange it all, what are the costs, when do I pay, is it given to everyone who views? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Jane
I've just googled and a lot comes up - try www.homeinformationpacks.gov.uk - the official site, that should tell you what you need to know.  And good luck selling your house :)

Hmmm a bit curious here.....

Grotty neighbours who (thankfully!) have their 3-bed house on the market...they have previously complained about our dogs to local environmental health (alleged howling, unsuccessfully upheld)

Are they legally obliged to inform potential buyers that they complained ?

Yes they are! :)

:-D Thanks Marianne.

Not really applicable anymore as we currently have no dogs here.
Wonder if they have to legally include ALL the complaints they made about other neighbours too.........?
They're not exactly Mr & Mrs Popular anymore! :-D

Will be so glad to see them drive off into the sunset!  I think there's a street party planned for that day.....
