Did anyone else watch this on TV recently? Had recorded it and got round to watching it last night. What a fantastic actor in the role of Stuart, although wasn't hugely impressed with the other actor.
An uncomfortable programme, but very well done I thought. Enjoyed it more than the book actually.
I also recorded it and several other programmes but haven't managed to watch any of them yet. Its not my hubby's sort of programme so can only watch it when he's not around. He is out tonight :D :D and I have got a film feast set up!!! Got 5 programmes to watch and am going shopping later for the chocolate and wine so will let you know tomorrow what I thought. It did look really interesting though from the trailers.
I haven't been able to watch anything for hte past few weeks because the Rugby World Cup! Hubby couldn't possibly tape any of the games so I could watch some of my programmes so I now have quite a back log! :D
Got to watch every programme by next Tuesday though :D as we will then lose all the recordings
I thoroughly enjoyed it........................what an author to have researched and put together something so contemporary. I didn't read the book and yes I agree with 'uncomfortable'. I dont think I'd want to see it again in a hurry.
The tale of a down and out drug addict, ayoung man with a series of problems, he was not a lucky man and his lot was not a good one. Not a happy story, not a happy ending. Karen
