Must have run out of settlers in Donner pass (possibly a joke of bad taste :-D) Brown bears in California are such a bunch of brazen hussies and piggy-wigs :-D Bet he went to town for some pizza. That's what I always did in Truckee.

According to the report I saw it was walking across the bridge and got frightened by a car so climbed over the edge

Thnk goodness there will always be someone who cares enough to rescue  animals like this..it's a lovely finish to what could have been a nasty end for poor Mr Bear. :cool:
