
Has anyone else had trouble with petplan taking ages to sort a claim? I'm on hold to them at the moment, I sent in a claim in July, it was sent back because it didn't have an official vet stamp - after they told me the chiropractor needed to fill it in and made no mention of a stamp - so I got it stamped and sent it straight back.
I rang them last wednesday to find out what was happening with it, as I needed the money for the boosters I posted about on my other thread. They said it was completed August 31, and put a chaser on it to get it moving. 48 hours max. I rang them tuesday - one week max.
Just spoken to the woman again, and the cheque will be printed and posted today or monday, which is great - but too late. I've already paid out over £100 on the boosters, and have just realised that my account will go overdrawn when BT tries to take their money on sunday, which'll mean they won't get it and I'll get a £50 duff DD charge.

Is it me or have they been really disorganised (not to mention intensely irritating) about this? If they'd sorted it in a reasonable timeframe not only would I have been able to get the boosters earlier - and not now have to take Opi down south with me - but I wouldn't now be facing a nasty bank charge. I relaise that isn't their fault but it's something I could do without, and could have avoided if they'd sorted my claim earlier. I really am angry with them over this, is it worth complaining?
