I have been having a laugh at the two new kittens over the last couple of days as they have been settling in :D

They are nearly friends with the big girls now but waiting for each other to make the first move :)

Cinnamon though has been retrieving and carrying things in her mouth :eek: Do you think she has been learning some tricks off the chocolate girls :eek: :D :D

I have never known a cat do that before

Clyde my maine coon, loves nothing better than a game of fetch.  he'll only fetch pieces of balled up paper (receipts are his favourite) and comes running to you if he hears you rolling a piece of paper in your hands!

he's 7 now and still enjoys a game of fetch

My Mum had Four Siamese and they all played fetch with her. It was Mum and three daughters and they played it all thier lives...along with lets all race up the floor lengh curtains on one side of the room  then down and a flying leap onto the dining table.....slide along off the other side and up the floor lengh curtains at the other side of the room....and back again and again. Cats ply just as much as dogs if taught from kittenhood. They were lovely.:cool:

My kitten does it with her toy mouse.  We have to throw it for her, she fetches it, sits, drops it and we have to chuck it again or she screams like a nutter!

I had a cat that played fetch. We never trained her to, she just did it. She started when she got hold of a plastic toy out of a cracker, and kept dropping it on our feet

My Burmese loved to play fetch :)  They really liked chees and onion crisp packets tied in a knot and would come running to check :)  Strangely none of my dogs ever wanted to retrieve except the TT and my one Bedlington

As Cinnamon's godmother I would love to see how she is getting on.............................. but her owner seems allergic to camera use!

L - how did the vets go?
- By LJS Date 12.09.07 21:19 UTC
You have had phone photos  I know not that good quality but still haven't found the camera yet  It is buried under loads of stuff yet to be be found :D :D

I will get there soon I promise as we have to paint over the next few days so may unearth it :D

Coco has also been retrieving tonight so is in their genes :D

We have been to see Uncle Stuart and questioned why I came in with two felines D :D

They both slopped out of the carrier and he said so not a black cat what is she :confused:

He thought they were super girls and gave them both a clean bill of health but Cinnamon's little bald patch that is now a bit infected is a scratch he thinks rather than RW so we have AB so will see what happens :)

They are both fine and have got their little paws well and truely under our skins now :D :D

Mike adores them and luckily his allergy to cats is doing well  he has been very wheezy but is fine as he has been when we have had new pups ! It is all about exposure and patience ;) :D

Yes photos of tops of heads!    ;)   Not little pretty pusskin faces.   Told you not to worry about the skin, but I thought it was Coco?

Glad they've settled in, I'm so jealous as they are a stunning pair.  You'll have to search for mouseskin covered kitten dummies for them!

Yes sorry it Coco

I have now six females babies and I am calling them all by each other names :D :D
Dingo keeps saying 'mummy why are you calling me one of the kittens names' :D :D

It is mummy madness :D

They are super kittens ! BIG pests but they are here forever ;)

I envy you a retrieving cat, none of mine would do that.  Of course I am probably more fit than you, running after all the paper balls as I am.  :)   We did have one boy who was crazy for the sound of a newspaper being ripped, then crumpled.  We often got him to come by doing that, even outside.  Have you tried the ball in the bathtub yet?  The sides of the tub almost give perpetual motion to the paper ball.  Just be sure to remove it before it gets really sodden and stuck in the drain.

I might try that with some plastic balls we have as I am sure they would have fun with that :D :D

They are having a siesta at the moment after four solid hours or tearing around and jumping on laptops and heads :eek: I am sure some of my work e-mails have been interested reading :D :D

Mine loved playing in the bath when they were younger.  Clyde would take toys upstairs to play with in the bath:cool:
