has anybody come across a bitch in season but she will not mate. the stud dog that is proven doesnt seem interested. almost as if she is not in season. but she is. well swollen blood changed colour now.  any ideas thanks

Doesn't sound like she is ready -is she flagging? The times can vary, one of mine wasn't ready until day 17 once.

Hi, maybe good idea to have a pre mate test done on her to make sure she is ovulating, then you can be sure when she is ready to be mated.
I do swear by pre mate test now IMO!!

I agree with Gemini05 to get her tested.

Either not ready yet, or she isn't ovulating.
