i no this might seem like a strange question, but do you thing a fox or other similar animals would play with dog toys.
a few times in the last week i have been finding dogs toys out the front of the house, at first i thought the dog were playing and they had gone over the side fence so have just brought them in, but today arins new rope toy in in the church grouds (house fronts onto a church) there is no way the dogs could of done it i have also noticed whatever took it over ther has chewed it as bits of it are laying round the toy, it isnt the only toy out there today there is also a teddy and a squeeky toy aswell:confused::confused:

Yep - happens to us all the time :) :) My elderly neighbour often handed back balls to us from her garden. There was no way that they were thrown by us into her garden and, as well, the ropes were often chewed off :D :D We have learnt not to leave toys out in the garden as they just disappear :( We did find a ball once in a field 200 yards away which looked suspiciously like one of ours and is right by the foxes den :)

Yes they do! I have home video of a fox playing with a teddy in our garden and then jumping the fence into next door with it .... even weirder was that my Dad witnessed the fox the next day jumping back into our garden to RETURN the teddy LOL LOL

My neighbour too has returned dog items that have appeared in her garden overnight - including a rather large marrow bone that was well weathered :D I can guarantee that nobody had been throwing that for the dogs :D :D

the strange thing is i have never thought of them as playful animals just out looking for a meal, it dosnt bother me at all as the only toys that end up in the garden are the half chewed one, actually it bring a smile to my face thinking of the playing with the toys awww bless:cool:

This might explain where all J & H's toys have gone :eek:

I left my trainers outside by the back door and in the morning discovered that a fox had peed on them, luckly the smell gave it away before I put them on  ....

... but perhaps this belongs in a new thread entirely:eek:
