hi just a quick question my friend girl is in pup she due oct 12th what it is she as 2 more dogs besides and they have caught fleas off a neighbours dog she as used flea treatment for the 2 dogs what can she use on the one in pup could she use flea shampoo or a flea colllar hope someone can help thanks

ask the vet, i think front line spot on can be used in pregnancy but ring vet to check

I agree frontline should be safe but its best to see her vet first.
Also treating the dogs will not make the problem stop there, Now she will have flea's aswell as eggs in the home so her home will need treating with a flea spray to treat carpets, upholstery and curtains, Otherwise she could end up with an infestation of fleas which will then go on the pups when born.

Acclaim is supposed to be one of the household ones that is good, as it kills the fleas and stops them being able to hatch.  I beleive the new version is effective for up to 12 months.
