hi all

my pup is nearly 10 months and has always been iffy with her food ( boo bark's at her when she is eatting so i have had to feed them in seperate rooms other then that they are the best of pals)  since i have changed her to 'Arden Grange' she is eatting 2 meals a day and also mashed potato 3 times a week as she loves it

she does not like peanut butter

what other food can i give to fatten her up , she loves lap of lamb but i dont want to give it too much

many thanks

Tripe is another good one for weight gain...

Which Arden Grange is she on?  When mine goes picky I put her on the prestige higher fat one, it seems to tempt her more, plus as it has a higher fat content the little she does eat helps with her weight.

hi she is on 'Arden Grange' Puppy/Junior Chicken & Rice i have a couple of samples of the prestige will try her on that , it is the other way round with 'lil' she needs to lose weight so i am putting her on the light food and stopping all scraps from table etc

Autarky was the only food that would put on weight with my spaniels.

Are you feeding the prestige.  When my Kizi was practically Anorexic that was the only one she would eat enough of to keep body and soul together, now at 10 I have to watch her weight.

Many young dogs are on the lean side and better for it, so I would leave off trying to fatten her up.  Often they get picky because we make a fuss about it.

Hi Georgina

We had a similar problem with our ESS who is now just 12 months.

We started on tripe 1Lb a day and also gradually moved him on to Eukanuba Puppy & Junior from Royal Canin.  This was only a few months ago and now we're having to monitor his weight as he is slightly heavy.

Regards

>Eukanuba Puppy & Junior from Royal Canin.

Eukanuba and Royal Canin are two different brands/companies....

Kate

I appreciate that.

What I meant was we switched him from Royal Canin to Eukanuba!!
