Hi

I was at a organic/free range farm at the weekend and was really impressed with the produce especially the meat. it has got me thinking about eating more healthier both for me and my family.

From now on I will try and buy organic and freerange meat and eggs as I was really impressed with the way they were living.

I was in the super market today and had a quick look at the organic stuff. It was practically 3 times the price of the normal food. So I am having second thoughts as I cant really afford it.

Does anyone eat totally organic and do they find they benifit from it. Is there a big difference in the taste and is it worth the extra money. I want to stick with the freerange meat as I do feel strongly about that. But does it matter if your baked beans are organic or not

Hi

Try and find a local butchers that specialises in organic meat or a local farm that does its on butchery.  It's much better than the supermarket as its been butchered properly.

Hi

The farm that I visited is local to me and does its own butchery on site so I will be buying all my meat and eggs from them from now on. It is the other stuff I was wondering about.

Thanks Wendy

:cool:personally i wouldnt bother with supermarkets atall....organic or not. far better to support local suppliers and buy from more reliable local sources, supporting genuine local farmers.... in my opinion
