No broadband where we are :( :( OH is looking into ways of getting it - but it may be rather expensive and I'm not sure whether CD is worth it Can I actually move to somewhere that doesn't have broadband ????????

I started on CD before we changed to Broadband, Daisy - just gave me time to get a cup of coffee (or something stronger) whilst it was loading :D

You need to get something like 64 people in the area, asking BT for broadband, for BT to instal the necessary equipment at the local exchange!

They have Broadband at the local exchange (about 4/5 miles away), but it just doesn't reach us :( :( OH has looked into getting a commercial line put in but it is something like £8000 (Plus annual rental of about £1000) :D :D :D One of out neighbours a mile away can't even get dial-up Next door neighbours are looking into it, so am hoping that they manage to get something done by the time that we actually move up there otherwise I'm not going :( :( :( :D :D :D
