I used to spend my summer holidays working away at the National Foaling Bank ( based in Shropshire).
It was run by a lady called Joanna Varden. She kept stud horses and bred, her stable name was *Crown*.
She also used to take in orphaned foals and either hand rear them or foster them onto another mare.
I loved working there and recently tried to find the place. Forgotton the name of the village and cannot find anything on the net about it.
Has anyone heard of it or know any contact details?
