Whilst I am on Champdogs, pontificating on "I feed what I know etc etc etc"........His Thorship has just put himself well and truly in the doghouse :rolleyes:

At 6pm, he had his (well-balanced ;) ) meal of minced chicken with bone with veggies and terrier mixer, followed by 2 spoonfuls of live yoghurt (they all sit in a line for this ).

Earlier on today, I had a mega-mince cooking session, and prepared lasagne for tonight's meal, plus one extra (also in china dish) for Nik & Vic when they get home from V-festival, plus 3 smaller ones (in foil dishes) to freeze away.

OH & I have had our meal, the others (including Nik & Vics) were left at the back of the worktop, under a teatowel, cooling, prior to refrigeration/freezing.

His Thorship has managed to pull them forward, break the china dish, and general scoff most of the rest of them :rolleyes::rolleyes:

I'm threatening to banish him to the Kennels for the night ..........

Oooooooooohhhhhhhhh that naughty Thor!!!
It is amazing how dogs are able to nick food of worktops so easily! Happens quite frequently here but then my dogs are LARGE BREED!!

What an earth are you going to feed the other humans now???

:d :d  You can have my Carina, she'd happily join Thor in demolishing anything with food in on the kitchen surfaces no matter how far YOU THINK you've put it away :d :d

we have a counter surfer here too, everything food wise, bread bin the lot needs to be above shoulder height or treacle will have it and bramble will scoff anything she leaves!! :)

Yesterday the phone rang and I left the middle door of the larder cupboard open.

when I next went into the kitchen Kizi and great granddaughter were in the same basket (unusual as Kizi is not that tolerant of the pup) and on investigation I found they were sharing a bag of plain flour that had been about half full!

There was flour in the basket all over the floor, their muzzles and paws and in their mouths.  the pup looked shame faced when I shouted at them, but madam Kizi (the senior stateswoman brazened it out, what me?

Was assembling my muesli breakdfast and coffee when the doorbell went the other day.  I went to sign for a parcel (2mins max), came back and thought 'hmmmmmm........could have sworn I'd put the milk in the cereal bowl.' Never mind. Went to fridge, saw that the bottle of milk was nearly empty.  Convinced myself I HAD put the milk in, so as an experiment I put the rest of the milk in and then walked outside to put the milk bottle in the bin.  Looked back through the kitchen window to see an 11 month old pup balancing herself on her forearms on the work counter (hind legs OFF the ground) very delicately lapping the milk and avoiding the cereal bits!  NAUGHTY NAUGHTY TEGAN!!

lol Thor certainly keeps you on your toes Margot :)  I have to say though, no self respecting dog should be able to resist freshly made lasagne :D
