Using the numbers 2 3 5 6 and only using + - x and / make 26. You can only use the numbers once. I can make just about every number but 26! Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllllllllpppppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Think laterally. 2 + 6 = 26

The first time I did it on my calculator I got 26.00004 Just did it again and got 26 :rolleyes: Don't understand that one ;) Oh well, back to school to learn how to use a calculator me thinks :D

2 divided by 3 equals two-thirds.
Subtract two-thirds from 5 and you get 4-and-a-third.
Multiply 4-and-a-third by 6 and you get 26.

I knew I should have trusted my own brain, and not the calculator ;)

But your brackets are in the wrong place, should be (5-2/3) x 6   (BODMAS and all that!!)

The other way the answer would be 1 not 26
