hi my lab is now 7 years old she is just finishing her season she is now day 22 this season she had no standing heat as she usually stands for my other female and seems very miserable is this normal do I need to take her to a vet

Unless there is some other reason the lack of behaviour with females would not worry me at all.  With my own girls sometimes they sometimes they don't and I have never relied on their behaviour with their own sex as any indicator of being ready as I tend to find they will stand or not at any time.

I would be looking for any sign of ill health over the next weeks, excessive thirst, inappetence, any discharge that doesn't seem normal etc, as you woudl with any season.
