Morning,  Thinking of buying one for the kids who are 13 and 9 and wondered if anyone had one and what they thought of them.  My OH thinks we should look at an xbox 360 or a PS3.  The wii's look so much fun though. 

Does anyone have one?

We have one - my daughter is 13 too.  It's a great piece of kit - I think it's better than the X-Box type things.  We've not had ours long and have the Wii Sports (that came with it), Wii Play with comes with the extra controller (worth having imo) and MarioParty8 which we're still getting to grips with because you have to play a challenge type game to be able to unlock the 'little' games. 

My mates son has some 'platform' games on his and seems to enjoy them too.

They are FANTASTIC!! We have one and it is huge fun ..for adults as well as the kids :) The X box and PS3 cannot compare ;) (We have an XBox as well but the PS3 is over priced and wont play any of the PS2 games ...rip off!)

we have one, we got it at christmas and the kids love it, the graphics are not as great as some other consoles but the play value is excellent, and it is something we all enjoy playing we have darts/bowling/baseball ets tornaments it's also nice i think that the kids get exercise rather than just sitting twiddling there thumbs last time i went on it i felt like i had done a workout for days after. we got some of the other games for it such as zelda and moto gp but the kids seem to prefer the wii sports wii play and wii smooth moves.

Fantastic fun.

My son had one for his birthday and he brought it to our place so we could all have a go.  I was quite good at tennis (I am rubbish in reality) and could see myself getting hooked on it.  certainly gets you out of your seat - good fun.

Thanks everyone.  Just bought one and waiting for OH to come home and set it up.  Not sure who is more excited the kids or me LOL
