The 2 that I took with me are NOT the 2 that I put in kenels.
I dont know why I am explaining myself to you but.
I have not got dogs outside my means.
I can cope with 3, the one I left with my mum is my old girl who could not cope with being trawled around here there and everywhere as she is now severally artheritic.
Why I got another dog. Beano cannot be left on his own without an other dog for company. I nearly lost Gemma twice in the last year. And that would mean I couldnt have even gone to the shops and left Beano at home as he would howl the place down. So I got Ebba so that when I do loose Gemma (and I am hoping not for a while but in reality it will probably be on the next year) Beano will have a playmate and not pine for Gemma as much.
As for Supermarkets leting dogs in, I have never found any.
I would say there is 2 adults iwhen you go on holiday?? Am I right???
That way if your dogs cant go in somewhere you can leave your other half to look after them. I DONNOT have that luxery.
I wish I lived in your world where everything is perfect for you and your dogs,
Unfortunatly I donnot.
I have dogs, I love them to pieces, so do my children. I can afford 3 dogs. I can look after 3 dogs.
And putting them in kennels for a few days a year is nNOT going to harm them.
As for the wedding. It was the wedding of my BEST MATE. No I wouldnt have gone if it meant leaving the dogs in the car, so I PAID someone to look after them for me so I could go to something I wouldnt have missed for the world. My dogs mean the world to me, and so do my FRIENDS. And had my mum look after my old girl as I donnot think it is fair to have her in kennels at her age Not selfish in my book. My dogs mean the world to me, and so do my FRIENDS.
I wonder how many people would have dogs if the only way they coould have them is living in your ideal world. Not many as most people dont live in an ideal world, and we have to manage the best way we can. That means giving yourself, your children and your dogs the happiest life possible and part of that is compromise.
