Right....

Can i please pick your brains for a sec?? Our little ginger kitten just arrived this morning and we have NO IDEA what to call her. :rolleyes:

We have another kitten who is almost 12 weeks old and is gorgeous, short haired, black and called Charlie. (its a girl) :D And of course we have our biggest baby, Tyson, 2 year old English Mastiff. :D

So i would appreciate any suggestions for a name for the new arrival. She is ginger in colour, long haired and SOOOOO fluffy! :)

Oh...and if anyone could suggest some good ways to make her settle in better i would be very grateful. :rolleyes: So far she doesnt like Charlie, is nervous of humans (apparently she hasnt been handled in 3 weeks!!) and HATES Tyson!! She is not like Charlie at all.....who settled in almost imediately and loves Tyson. I know its very early days but i am a bit stuck as to what i shuld do. HELLLLP!!!!! :(

Or what's wrong with good old Ginger for a name - made me think of my cat when I was a youngster he was a cracker!  I wasn't allowed a cat but I could have a kitten so guess mustn't say he was a cat - he lived til 18 years of age!  Loved him to bits!

There is no such thing as a ginger or orange cat, the colour is called Red. :) It's just generally referred to as ginger in mogs.

I know!   But mog's is ginger guv and pedigree's are red!   ;)

I've changed the words to that song, I always think of it as Rio, Rio, Rio, RIOOOOOO! :D (My dog has a lot of songs, she was of course named after Duran Duran's Rio, but also her pedigree name is Believe, which is Cher.)

Still not sure which name suits her. With Charlie, she seemed to suit being called Charlie. But with this one i'm not so sure.

Aaaawww....how sweet. :) She is much more settled and confident this morning. She is playing with Charlie and has walked over to Tyson while he was asleep to give him a sniff. lol :D She does still hiss at him when he walks past her though, but i'm sure she will copy Charlie soon enough and be snuggling up with him in the sunshine. ;)

Still not chosen a name yet. :rolleyes: I have been trying out some of the names that have been suggested to see which one suits her best. lol But we still cant decide.

Oh no Phoenix is girly, all the ones I have known have been girls.  I like that the best so far, waht with Harry Poter etc too.
