Misty has a habit of shredding whatever beddding we put down for her. Some days, she will walk around the house dragging it in her mouth. We have tried all sorts of things to stop her but she insists on doing it and will quite happily trot around with it (like a child with their security blanket?). When I say stop she will (for a nano second ;)) and I will put it back. But 2 mins later she will have it again.
We have tried different types of bedding but they all end up shredded with copious amount of holes and of course I get left with little bits of rag all over the floor! She now has a plastic dog bed (we actually found something she wont chew) but is this enough comfort wise?
We have tried just leaving the blanket/bedding down when we are out but still the same. We have tried leaving a kong etc to distract her from chewing the bedding but she ignores them until we get back  The same with apples and even her own food in her bowl. She just insists on chewing her bedding and watching the food until we get back then she will eat...... We also have a bare patch of wall where she has decided to eat the plasterboard and wallpaper .
Any suggestions??
