Hi Guys ,
bb had her pups 9 weeks ago one born naturally five born by c -section ,all went well pups were away from mum at six weeks .Went to there new loving homes at eight weeks ,but bb's still bleeding it's not every day and the blood is fresh ,when she goes toilet she is passing small clots ,there is no natsy smell ,and she is very well in herself it's just the bleeding .I spoke to my vet before pups went away and he said it was normal after a section ,but am not so sure so were taking her back to vets 6.00 tonight

Hi bbgirl,

I think you are right to take her to the vet. Three of my girls have had sections in the past and I have never experienced what you are seeing.

Hope all goes well.

It's normal for bitches to have a discharge for weeks after they have pups whatever way they are born.  Have had some up to about 3 months.

I've also had bitches bleed for a number of weeks after the pups.  They've been fit and health bitches and their pups have always been fine to.  Hope all's OK at the vets.
