Mia is having her 1st season, and is still bleeding 25 days later has anyone had experience of this before, is this normal for them to bleed this long, the bleeding's not as heavy as it was, but still quite a  bit, there is no smell, she's not unwell, i've never had a bitch bleed this long, i know all dogs are different but a wee bit of advice would be gratefull

One of mine regularly goes to 25 days...her last one was 28 days

One of mine bled for 4 weeks and then stopped.  Prolonged bleeding can just be them or can be a sign of cystic ovaries.

Also as this is her first season are you sure she hasn't had a split season, started then stopped due to the hormone levels being not just enough and then re started. This would not be unusual for a first timer, I have had that too.

If she is well I would do no more about it and watch to see the pattern of her next few seasons.

If she is to be a brood bitch and this continues it may be worth consulting a reproductive specialist, who may advise she is bred from sooner than later as it could be a sign of fertility problems.  Though you would need to ask yourself the question could this be a problem that will be inherited.

Always worth finding out what patterns her female ancestors show, as they are often inherited.

She has bled all the way through, no split in the season, she is well in herself eating and drinking, running about daft as 10 month old puppies do.
i'm not worried just now, but if it continues i will take her to the vet for a check-up, mine usually only bleed for 3 weeks, but as you said i don't know her cycle pattern as with this being her 1st season.
it's good to know that some other people's girls have bled for a full month
