Help

we seem to have a nest of bee's under our shed, we would normally leave them, but we have to walk the dogs past them to put them into their secure run, what can we do about them any ideas?

I believe bees are protected so you would need to contact a bee keeper to take them away and re-home them. You cannot kill them.

Contact the Beekeepers Association as even if you kill them it won't be the end of the problem

I noticed bubble bees going into the side of the house a few weeks ago, but last week we cut the hedge right back and they have disappeared, i think we may have disturbed their flight path.

Thanks everyone, checked out the Beekeepers Asssociation site and one suggestion on there was to put up some sort of screening if they are at ground level so they fly out and up. OH was at B&Q this morning getting some willow screening to put up hopefully this will work, dogs wont be able to see them now until they are at least 8ft into the air, if that fails then ill use the number you have supplied Margot.
Once again thanks
